Teaching Plan Oct-Dec 2024
Over the coming weeks we will be delving into the Wisdom books of the Bible, especially Proverbs, Job and Ecclesiastes. These are probably some of the least-read books in the Bible but they are there for a very good reason! Together, they address the tough questions of life and teach us how to live well in right relationship with God despite all the questions and challenges life throws our way.
They help us to learn to make good choices, treat others well, understand there are things we can't explain and control and that there is more to life than chasing material security and worldly recognition. Crucially, they pave the way to help us understand God's free gift of grace through Christ that we can't initiate, can't repay and don't deserve. The good life is relationship with God following the way of Jesus by the Spirit.
