Serving The Community: We Love Marlow!
We don't want just to be in the town; one of our core aims is to demonstrate our love for the community by serving it in a variety of ways. We can always use more helpers so if this is something you would like to consider, or just want more information about any of the activities below, please contact Anthea Wratten.
Marlow Youth Clubs
We run a youth club each week in term time at the Marlow Youth & Community Centre on Thursday Evenings from 6.30-9.00pm. It's for anyone in Years 6-11.
RiverLife
On Wednesday mornings the Marlow Youth Centre is transformed when the RiverLife team hosts a lively mums (and/or dads), carers and toddler session. The team is led by Beryl Berrett and through these regular events reaches out to local residents with practical care and support. All are welcome to pop in for a brew, a chat and some thoroughly delicious cake. RiverLife is open 10.30am - 12noon Wednesdays in school term time.
WhyCome
WhyCome is held on the last Saturday of every month at a church in High Wycombe and River is one of the organisations helping to fund and run it. It provides a hot meal and clothes, toiletries and food items for the homeless of High Wycombe to take away. Over 50 guests attend a typical session.

Love Marlow Festival
Love Marlow is an initiative of Churches Together in Marlow, working in partnership with local community groups, businesses and the town council. The vision is for Marlow to be a town in which life, love, and all that is good is held up and celebrated. Our aim is to help strengthen relationships across the town by promoting kindness, volunteering and fun, so that every resident feels cared for, everyone who works here knows they are valued, and every visitor is welcomed.
The Love Marlow festival is held every June, and is packed full of community activities – sports events, live music, art displays & drama, craft workshops, fun stuff for kids, and opportunities to help the elderly and vulnerable in various practical ways. It has become a regular feature of Marlow life and one we hope will continue in the years to come. To find out more visit the LOVE Marlow website.

Santa's Fun Run
Every year we serve free drinks at the Rotary Clubs of Marlow's Santa's Fun Run in Higginson Park. It's great fun serving nearly 3,000 Santas, but hard work, so if you'd like to help we'd love you to join us.
If you would like to help at any of these events, please contact us by filling in the form below and we will be in touch.
