The Sun

I once saw the sun,
A fiery goddess on her throne,
Who, a yellow beauty blaze,
Wore a golden crown and held a
Silver mace.

I once saw the sun go down,
An orange warmth, aglow with love;
Saw the highest heavens show
Its farewell overture above.

I once saw the sun rise fresh
From her night time rest and wake
The world with cries of joy and HOPE
And “make the best”.

Consider the sun......
