Worship is really important to the River Churches, and we want our worship on earth to reflect as best we can what it will be like one day in heaven. So we really want everyone to feel included: from different cultures and backgrounds, from the very youngest to the very oldest, joining together as a family to lift up our worship to God.
 

Worship is our personal and corporate response to GOD – for who He is and what He's done. One definition is that worship is “ascribing worthiness to the One who alone is all worthy, as an attitude of the heart, led by the Spirit and grounded in the Truth, finding expression through every means, media and instrument available to us”. It's expressed in and by the things we say, the way we live and the things we do. It’s a more a lifestyle than an activity, and it’s certainly not something just for Sunday meetings.

When we come together we express our worship primarily through songs. Throughout history, God's people have sung. Through good times and through bad times they've sung to remember what God's done and to celebrate His amazing love.
