GET INVOLVED

We aim to have a community of people who grow and serve with one another to se hearts transformed and heaven made manifest on Earth.

It is our aim to fulfil the Great Commission of bringing people into a life changing encounter with Jesus and demonstrating love and reality of the Kingdom of God.

We have a number of places you can join us to get to know people in our church community.

Of course there are Sunday morning worship services where you are most welcome to join us. Tea, coffee and a chat start at 10.15.

We also have a number of weekly, monthly and occasional activities as listed below:
 

Weekly Sunday Service

Our weekly Sunday Service begins at 10.15 for a chat and cuppa, with service beginning at 10.30

Slough Care Home Sunday Service 

Once a month we hold our service in a Slough Care Home, details of when can be found on our calendar
 

Little Gems Toddler group 

Little Gems Toddler Group runs every Tuesday morning in term time in Priory School porta cabin Orchard Avenue, SL1 6HE. 9.15am -11.15am. £2.50 per adult.

There are toys to play with and an art activity each week. The group offers a snack (fruit and biscuit) for children, and tea/coffee and cakes for the adults. We end the session with tidy up and singing. We are a friendly,  welcoming group for parents & grandparents with young babies and pre-schoolers. 
 

Small midweek groups 

We hold smaller groups during the week to connect and pray together, we also worship and have Bible Study
 

Care Home

Once a month we hold a Sunday service in a local Care Home to bless the residents.
 

Giving Hope Furniture Project 

Giving Hope Furniture is our latest vision from the Lord, where we help the community that have fallen of hard times. You can see more details of this on the designated Card
 

PEP (Powerful Effective Prayer) 

Fortnightly, we join in a Powerful Effective Prayer meeting with other local Christians in Windsor that was started by one of our team members
 

Food and Quiz evenings

Throughout the year, Slough River Church hosts Food and Quiz nights where members of the public can come and enjoy an evening of delicious food, have great fun in the quiz, and enjoy loving fellowship. 

These evenings have been a great success, with International Foods, BBQs and even Hot Dogs and Jacket Potatoes, as the main courses. All who attend have been welcomed, blessed, fed, and entertained in a wholesome Christian atmosphere.

Christmas Carol service and Santa present giveaway 

Over the past few years River Church Slough has held an event where we can join in with Carol singing, while bringing the children who will all receive a free gift.

These have been wonderful events of blessing the local children, there are also lots of activities for the kids.
