Events Held at The Windsor Hall
In 2007 River Church took over the permanent use of the Gospel Hall on the Dedworth Road in Windsor. This is a small but well situated facility. At the moment River Church doesn't have a Congregation in Windsor, though there is a Neighbourhood Group linked to the Maidenhead Congregation covering Holyport and Windsor, but the Hall is regularly used for cross-congregational meetings and activity. In time we hope that the hall will become a key asset to a new congregation in Dedworth/Windsor.
Monthly Base:ix
Youth work across River operates under the name Base. Once a month an event is held for youth from all congregations. At the moment this is using the Windsor Hall. See calendar for details.
MAD Bible Teaching
MAD stands for "Mondays At Dedworth". every other week from 09:30 to 10:30ish a member of the central/teaching team, (usually Christen Forster) teaches through a book of the Bible in depth. This is open to everyone who can make it, and for those that can't the teachings are recorded and posted on the web site. Please note that on alternating Mondays there is a team meeting for those that lead various ministries in River, so please check the calendar for the schedule. Why not check out the MAD home page.
Various Teaching Events
River Churc h runs regular teaching/training events which are open to all, from the practical, such as regular Child Protection Training to the expert such as internationally accredited "HeartStyles" pastoral training. Please review the 'Events' area of the web site to see what's coming up.
The BIG Year
The Windsor Hall is the home of our year out discipleship and leadership development course called the BIG (Breakthrough in God) Year.
