Nepal Update June 2010

Just to let you know that the students in the "River of Life Bible training school" in Nepal have completed their training this week, and were joined by Andy Rackstraw for their graduation ceremony. Here is a note from Anand...

"We are doing great. I had had a great time translating Pastor Andrew for last two days. He came up with great Leadership tools from the book of Nehemiah. The students are hugely blessed to have him at the end of their class. Today after the class was over, we had a prayer time for one hour. The students were prayed for the filling of the Holy Spirit and were anointed to be the fragrance of Jesus wherever they go. It was really a blessed time to have him in our midst and we are very much happy that he is representing the River Church. I want to request you to pray for the students as they are being sent out with a mission, may God use them powerfully in their places. Please continue to pray for the students as they go out with a fresh anointing."

Meanwhile Samuel and his group of students have gone out on a mission trip to the villages around them to put into practice all that they have been learning. Samuel has also asked us to pray for them...

"In this training our students have been very excited to serve the kingdom of God. Our twenty days theoretical class has finished, and now we are going to preach the Gospel among the Buddhist community and Brahmin community, this community will very pious their own traditional. So, pray for our Great Harvesters of God Discipleship Training team. We go to sow the seed of God among that people; we believe that God will work in their heart and mind. Before we go there God may prepare people heart and mind to hear word of God."

I have also attached Daniel's story - his own account of what happened the day he took his daughter Sujana (Rhymes with "Susannah"!) to the hospital. Please take the time to read it to the end (maybe you could print it off to read when you have time) - as I guarantee you will find it extremely moving!!!
