Slough Christmas Lunch

Illness certainly took its toll on the Slough Christmas Lunch on Sunday 21st December! Of the 25 that had booked to come just 15 turned up at the Feathers in Taplow Common Road for what turned out to be a very enjoyable meal - I can certainly vouch for the roast beef and the treacle sponge and custard afterwards. I didn't need anything else to eat that day! There were enough of us to fill one large table and still be able to talk to everyone, even if some at the ends had to shout a little.
